Biography and Interests
I am a second year graduate student in the CMS group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, advised by Prof. Kevin Black.
Project
My TAC-HEP project is to contribute to the Elastic Analysis Facility at Fermilab through collaboration with my Fermilab mentors, Burt Holzman and Maria Acosta Flechas. The EAF is designed to be a user-friendly, JupyterHub-based interface allowing researchers to perform computationally intensive analyses quickly and efficiently via distributed computing using High Throughput Computing (HTC) and local GPUs. The EAF is hosted within Fermilab’s CSAID Kubernetes infrastructure. Additionally, a Python library called HTCDaskGateway is under testing and development. Its main objective is to meet user authentication requirements by FNAL and integrate with local LPC resources. This allows high throughput columnar analysis jobs to utilize HTC resources to perform CMS data analysis leveraging Dask Gateway, HTCondor and COFFEA.
Recent Accomplishments
- Sucessfully adapted the 200 Gbps Challenge Notebook to the EAF
